It started with a family recipe and a fierce mother's love, when co-founder Jenny, a single mom to four, needed to create a new path. That journey, a true 'rebellion against settling,' is the soul of our company. It's the belief that when life gives you lemons, you make brownies.

When it comes to our brownies, however, expect nothing but handcrafted perfection. We are committed to real connection, and that starts with an exceptionally baked treat made without compromise.

The Reality
Let's be real: Rogue Brownies wasn't born from some Instagrammable dream. Its heart started beating out of pure, fierce mother-love and a terrifying reality.

Back in 2019, my sister Jenny, a single mom to four, was staring down an impossible choice. Her son, Maxwell, lives with Coffin-Siris syndrome, a rare condition that means:

He is nearly blind and deaf.

Adding to the storm, her daughter began a painful journey with her own unexplained mobility issues. A 'standard job' was never an option. Jenny had to be their voice, their hands, their constant watch.
The Turning Point So, what do you do when the world isn't built for your reality?
You build your own.

The Rebellion That’s what Jenny did. She took our family's brownie recipe, not just to bake, but to fight. She fought to carve out a future for her kids, on her own damn terms. That necessity, that raw refusal to settle for a life defined by limitations—that is the soul of Rogue Brownies.

That touch of edible gold? It’s a symbol of defiant joy. It’s inspired by our co-founder Jenny, a single mom to four incredible kids with unique needs. While navigating their care, she earned both her Bachelor’s and MBA—a testament to her relentless strength.
The gold is a reminder of her philosophy: self-worth isn’t a reward you earn; it’s your right.

In 2024, I, her sister Karyl, joined the mission. Together, we forged that heartfelt dream into the ‘Made in Montana’ certified bakery we are today, ready to share that unapologetic spirit with every brownie we bake.
